University Spirit - Athens

We have been a family owned business in Athens, Georgia since 1975. We were established by University of Georgia Alumni (our parents Rick and Lesley Maggiore). The business is now run by sisters Lisa, along with her husband Thomas, and Laura, along with her husband Kyle. Laura and Kyle manage the original store, University Spirit, which is located at the top of Baxter Hill near the corner of Baxter Street and Milledge Avenue. This location sells University of Georgia apparel and gifts, along with sorority apparel and gifts. We work with the Panhellenic sororities on campus for their group Bid Day gifts and we are the primary Athens store for Bid Day Packages the parents purchase. Lisa and Thomas manage our other store location, The Clubhouse, which was opened in 1996 in downtown Athens on College Square and sells unique University of Georgia apparel and gifts.
